The 066-09000 is a sintered metallic brake lining manufactured by Parker Hannifin’s Aircraft Wheel & Brake division under the Cleveland Wheels & Brakes name. It is a consumable wear item replaced during routine brake service when lining thickness reaches the manufacturer’s minimum, and is also referenced by its earlier Cleveland designation 66-09.
Each of the applicable brake assemblies uses eight linings per wheel, so a two-wheel brake job requires sixteen pieces. Linings are riveted to the pressure plate and back plate using P/N 105-00200 rivets, which are not included. Bolt torque for the 30-107, 30-131, 30-144 and 30-159 series assemblies is 85–90 in-lb per the Cleveland Technician’s Service Guide.
This lining is used across the Cleveland 30-107, 30-107A/B/C/D/E, 30-131, 30-144, 30-144A, 30-144B, 30-159, 30-159A, 30-159B and 30-159C brake assemblies. Typical installations include Aero Commander and Twin Commander 500/680/690/695/840/980/1000 series, Beechcraft King Air 90 and 99 series, Queen Air, Twin Beech 18 with Volpar conversion, Mitsubishi MU-2, and Swearingen SA26 Merlin — many of these via Cleveland conversion kit rather than factory-original installation.
Confirm the brake assembly part number stamped on your aircraft before ordering. Aircraft model alone does not establish eligibility. Refer to the aircraft manufacturer’s approved parts catalog for installation eligibility.
